Ski the slopes

In Dubai, anything is possible, so you can experience sand dunes by day and ski hills by night. The sand dunes outside the city are an amazing site and skiing on them is one of the activity options on desert safaris. You can also enjoy camping, dune bashing and camel rides!

If the snow slopes are more your thing, the Mall of the Emirates has an indoor ski resort.  Also found in the resort area of the mall is a zip line and an enclosure with Gentoo and King penguins! Added bonus, for a fee you can have an up-close interaction with the feathered friends.

Shopping utopia

Shopping in
serious style.

It's a one-stop-shopping-utopia at the Mall of the Emirates. Home to more than 700 shops and services, and more than 80 of the top designer brands in the world. It also has a 14-screen cinema, a family entertainment centre and two 5-star hotels.

Not to be outdone, the Dubai Mall is even bigger, with more than 1,3000 shops and services, including more than 200 restaurants and cafes. And rather than an indoor ski resort, this one has an Olympic-sized ice rink and an aquarium where you can go cage diving with sharks.

Room with a view

The Burj Khalifa requires it's own shout out. Visitors need to experience the 360-degree views from the 124th, 125th and 148th levels.

Another incredible view to take in is in front of the Burj Khalifa. The Dubai Fountain is the tallest performing fountain in the world, and visitors can enjoy the choreographed displays with music and lights! For unique perspectives, you can take a boat ride or stroll along the boardwalk, and for the truly adventurous, there's the zipline!

Historic Dubai

Though the city has certainly had a development explosion in the last two decades, it was originally a small fishing village. You can get a deeper appreciation for the history of the city by visiting the Old Quarter and checking out the traditional souks (markets). While you’re there, you can taste the flavours of the region by enjoying traditional food at the Arabian Tea House, visiting the Coffee Museum and checking out the Spice Souk.

Got a layover coming up or looking to get away for a fabulous weekend? Dubai is the hot spot you don't want to miss. And we're here to help you get the most out of your stay with the best rates on hotels throughout the city. Click, book, enjoy!
